Sunshine Cottage knows that children with hearing loss can be an active part of the hearing world. We teach children with mild to profound hearing loss to communicate naturally and effectively using intelligible speech and pleasant-sounding voices, without the use of sign language. From newborns through high school age, children thrive in a supportive educational environment with an excellent clinical and teaching staff and state-of-the-art technology.

Language acquisition, clear speaking skills, and the ability to learn to listen (using residual hearing and amplification) are education goals that span all subjects taught at Sunshine Cottage.
