Congratulations to the 2006 Alumni Role Model Scholarship Winners!
Thanks to the generosity of those who contributed to the Alumni
Scholarship fund, this year we were able to grant two Alumni Role
Model Scholarships. The scholarships were awarded to outstanding
students who are participating in Sunshine Cottage's Mainstream
Program.
Congratulations to Stephanie and Elizabeth, this year's recipients
of the Alumni Role Model Scholarships. Stephanie, a freshman at
Lee High School and Elizabeth, a fourth grader at Jackson-Keller,
participate in Sunshine Cottage's Mainstream Program. The scholarships
were presented to the students at the Mainstream Awards dinner.
These generous, full scholarships for each deserving student
are made possible through the generosity of alumni, their parents
and friends who contributed to the Alumni Scholarship fund. The
scholarship is not just financially enabling a worthy student to
attend Sunshine Cottage; it also sends a clear convincing message
to the student that a sense of dedication and hard work in the Sunshine
program does lead to immeasurable results.

you believe in our program and our students. This scholarship helps
to motivate our students to do their very best in school. Your commitment
is an investment in their future success in the hearing world.
