Outdoor
School
Outdoor school will be held May 14-15, 2008. In three action-packed days in May, the fifth grade class from Sunshine Cottage School for Deaf Children will experience the great outdoors as explorers in the Texas Hill Country. For some of these children, this will be their first adventure away from their families and city life. While living in rustic cabins, they will study the life cycle of owls and see owl habitats, learn how to use a map and compass in an outdoor orienteering exercise, play a variety of outdoor games, and acquire self-help skills that will last throughout their lives.

After-School Enrichment
Now that our school year is underway, we are please to offer after-school enrichment opportunities for elementary students. Our goal is to provide our children with a range of positive afternoon supervised activities, which supports the family, school, and community. It provides opportunities for children to develop socially, emotionally, and physically, with a warm and caring atmosphere.
