| What's New on Campus
 Welcome to 2010! Our new doors are open and the excitement is larger than ever. Students are learning what it feels like to be in a 62,000 square foot new school. Teachers are elated to have more space and technologically advanced classrooms to teach our students. We welcome you to our campus on September 14, at 9 a.m. for our Grand Opening Ceremony. Hope you can attend.
There is always something happening at Sunshine Cottage. From Fiesta to the Holiday Season, Alumni Reunions, and even the San Antonio Rodeo and StockShow, Sunshine Cottage finds a way to incorporate all kinds of celebrations into the students' learning. Look around, and you too will find yourself celebrating the successes of Sunshine Cottage no matter what time of year it is!
The Women’s Soccer Team from Washington University, St. Louis was in San Antonio for the NCAA, Division III Women’s Soccer Tournament.
The San Antonio Sports Foundation organized a team visit to the Sunshine Cottage campus where the team gave a short soccer lesson to elementary students. Key players demonstrated soccer moves with their legs, knees, and heads. Before long, students were head-butting soccer balls and scoring goals!
Students got into the team spirit and gave them a rousing pep rally!
