Clinical Fellowship

A clinical fellowship position is offered as a one year position for those who have completed their Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and are seeking their Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Applicants should have a desire to work with children with hearing loss, although experience in this area is not necessary. Externship Program

The Speech-Language Pathology Department partners with various universities to serve as a practicum site for those completing internships/externships while working towards their Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. School District Consultations

Sunshine Cottage School for Deaf Children consults with both public and private schools across the nation. Schools meet with Sunshine Cottage staff to discuss how to best implement the Cottage Acquisition Scales of Listening, Language, and Speech into their programs.
